DESCRIPTION:CELEBRATING CONCORD’S PAST\, PRESENT AND FUTURE! \n\nTour the beautiful Galindo Home and Gardens!\nExplore the Event Center\, Resource Center and interact with the recently updated and expanded Concord Museum exhibits!\n\n  \nPLUS\, THESE SPECIAL EVENTS: \n\nWatch on a BIG screen – the 1960 movie “The Wild Ride” starring Jack Nicholson\, filmed in Concord\, Clayton and surrounding areas\nTap your feet to music by the DVC Jazz Band\nAnd join Concord author Kori Barton in a reading for children of her book “C is for Concord”\nThis is a FREE event; however\, donations will be gratefully accepted.\n\n  \nSCHEDULED EVENTS: \n\n1pm – Music performed by the DVC Jazz Ambassadors on stage in the Event Center\n2:30 pm – Book Reading for children of “C is for Concord”by local author Kori Barton in the foyer outside the museum\n3:30 pm – Movie “The Wild Ride” in the Event Center. This movie was filmed in and around Concord in the 1960s and stars Jack Nicholson\n\n
